Winter

The winter season is a critical time to prepare your vehicle for possible challenges.  Cold weather pushes your car’s mechanical abilities while hazardous driving conditions test your abilities as a driver.  To have a safe and hazard free winter take care of you, your car and your tires.

Tips for you – Take it slow.  Maintain a safe distance.  Be on the defense, not offense.  Carry supplies for an emergency (water, blanket, sand bags, cat litter, energy bars, cell phone).

Tips for your car – Get a tune up. Check your fluid levels: coolant & windshield wiper. Check wipers.  Check your battery.

Tips for your tires – Do you have the right tires for winter?  Are they rated as all-season or specifically for winter driving?  Are they properly inflated for winter roads?
